Therefore go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, and teaching them to obey everything I have commanded you. And surely I am with you always, to the very end of the age."
Matthew 28:18-20
We as Christians are supposed to make disciples of all nations. Does that mean you need to leave the country? No, it means you need to do your job in your town, school or work. What is your job? To speak the gospel to everyone. Its not going to be easy, there will be people that don’t want to listen but all you can do is plant a seed and God will water the plant. One of the most efficient ways to spread the word is to live by example. You need to make people wonder, “why is he so caring to people.” Or, “I wish I could love like that.” Make them wonder what gives you that happiness.
The bottom line is that you got to let the Lord speak through so that you can change the world one step at a time.

Choose: God vs. World
What do you do when you get up in the morning? You probably brush your teeth or make your bed. Every day you make a choice. Either to start your day by listening to non-Christian music or playing video games OR you can pray. You can choose to start your day with God. You choose whether to cuss or gossip about someone. Choose. That’s a really big six letter word. You choose between simple things like whether you’re going to get ice cream or seconds at lunch. Or big things like whether you’re going to tell your friend about Christ.
Jesus answered, "My teaching is not my own. It comes from him who sent me. If anyone chooses to do God's will, he will find out whether my teaching comes from God or whether I speak on my own. He who speaks on his own does so to gain honor for himself, but he who works for the honor of the one who sent him is a man of truth; there is nothing false about him.”
John 7:16-18
If anyone chooses to God’s will….. You have to choose to be part of God’s plan. And you wanna know how to start off. Start every day with God.

Anger!
Anger. One simple word. It can mean hate, jealousy, ambition, but basically it boils down to a three letter word we all know so well. Sin. Why do we get angry? What makes us lose our patience? We get angry when people do stuff that we may intentionally or unintentionally do to others. Maybe you comment on how others do things and try to correct them. But the second they correct you... BOOM! You explode. Maybe it’s when people point fingers at you, when you do it to them all the time. Here’s a great verse:
My dear brothers and sisters, pay attention to what I say. Everyone should be quick to listen. But they should be slow to speak. They should be slow to get angry. A man's anger doesn't produce the kind of life God wants.
James 1:19-20
Quick to listen, that is the best advice you can get. Listen to what others say and take good advice and don’t get angry when they do. If you shut up, listen and don’t get angry you will live a happy life. But you have to make the choice. Are you going to not get angry?
Do me a favor and pray for a few minutes when you get up. Pray that you won’t get angry and listen.

Being like Him!
The light of the righteous shines brightly, but the lamp of the wicked is snuffed out.
Pride only breeds quarrels, but wisdom is found in those who take advice.
Proverbs 13:9-10
Pride only breeds quarrels, but wisdom is found in those who take advice.
Proverbs 13:9-10
Pride is something we all struggle with. Especially me. I can’t help but wonder why. I think I found the reason. I love being right, I love to rub it in your face and say HA HA. I’m smarter, stronger, cuter, more intelligent, etc. But why would I do that? I don’t know. It’s second nature. Every person on the face of this earth does not want to admit they’re wrong. Let’s say you get in an argument with a friend or co-worker, and you’re 100% sure that you’re right. What do you do? Argue until he/she gives up? NO! W.W.J.D. What would Jesus do? How many times did the Pharisees think they were right? Always. How many times did Jesus argue??? Never. You’re probably saying, “I’m not Jesus. I can’t be perfect. Just because Jesus can do it doesn’t mean I can.” You’re exactly right! We can’t be like Him. Have you ever striven to be like an infamous football player or a movie star? You work to be as good as them even though you know your chances are pretty slim, right? Well then why do we not strive to be just like Jesus?
I want you to think about being like Him. To be the bigger person and stop always having to be right (even if you are). I want you to go to school/work and take all the advice you can unless, of course, it's against God’s word.
